Notes for Colonel Reginald Bastard DSO, DL
In 1881 he was with his parents at Eaton Sq.
In 1891 he was with his aunt A Charlotte Thorold, nee Claremont, at Lower Seymour St, Marylebone and aged 10 and born in Knightsbridge, London.
One of these marriages may be his:
Surname First name(s) Spouse District Vol Page
Marriages Dec 1912
Bastard Reginald G Sargent Plymouth 5b 585
Marriages Mar 1919
Bastard Reginald Wellesley St. Martin 1a 1052
Marriages Mar 1923
Bastard Reginald R B Davy Crediton 5b 697
For the lack of subsequent initials, I suspect it was the second marriage, to Lilian M Wellesley. The guess is confirmed by Burke’s Peerage of 2003!
