The Ham MSS say he m. a Catherine Trevor, sister to Sir E Trevor.  I cannot find any of these in the rather exhaustive account of the Kynaston of Pontesbury family in the 1623 visitation of Shropshire.  Sounds like Frances was a very much younger son and the detail of ‘of Pontey Besley, Shropshire’ merely reflects his parents residence.

However on p. 466 of vol 2 of this visitation there are some post-visitation additions to a Trevor family which has a Catherine as the eldest child with an Edward as her eldest brother and both the children of Richard Trevor of Elsmere, Salop and his wife Jane Lloyd of LLwyn.

The 1623 Salop visitation has arms for some ‘Pontesbury’ Kynastons:

Quarterley:
1. Argent a chevron engrailed between three mullets pierced sable (Kynaston),
2. Argent, on a chief or a raven sable (Hoorde),
3. Ermine, a chevron gules (Kynaston of Hordley, the Audley coat),
4. Gules, a chevron between three boars’ heads erased at the neck argent (Edwards of Chirk).
