Jul 2006, TFPL: It is possible that a generation has been left out between this Roger and his son John. Bodine and Spalding have two identical entries for this Roger, with one being the father of the other. On the other hand Moor in his ‘Kts of Ed I’ has a Philip Engleifield, son of Roger who held Englefield manor in 1322; Philip may be the intervening generation.
