Notes for Anne Tuchet
In the Cheshire vis'n she is reported to be dau. of "Thoms Tuchett L: Audley"; the only trouble is that no Tuchet, lord Audley of that time was a Thomas, according to CP... She is variously Alice or Margaret.
Ormerod makes it a little easier by saying that her, and calling her Anne, father was James lord Audley. This immediately makes James Tuchet 5th lord Audley, (c.1398-1459) the obvious candidate for her father; let’s guess her mother was Margeret Roos and not his second wife, Eleanor Holand.
