| Notes for Thomas Throckmorton |
He m. Margaret, heir of Wm Horwood (or Whorwood), Attorney General to H VIII, and their daughter Elenor m. Henery Frowike of old fold (Munday's Mx pedigrees, p. 90). Eleanor was the youngest of one son and five daus. I have added Miryell Throckmorton as their daughter as she was, pace Smyth in his Lives of the Berkekeys, Vol I, p. 264, the wife of Henry Berkeley of Stoke Gifford and the dau of Thomas Throckmorton of Caughton, Warks. This is confirmed in Smyth, Vol II, p. 231. |
