The 1592 Kent visit'n has 4 generations prior to Nicholas and says Nicholas m. Alys dau & co-heir of Wm. Bettenham of Crambrook, Kent and they had John, Anne, Elizabeths, Julian (f), Dorathe.

The Hants visitations of 1530, '75 and 1622-34 include the same earlier generations and add in an uncle William of this Nicholas as the founder of the Hants branch.  William was the fourth son of his parents Richard and Agnes Eyton.  John, the father of this Nicholas, was the first son of Richard and Agnes.
