From the Fine Rolls of 6 Henry III:
“166 15 April. Westminster. Shropshire. To the sheriff of Shropshire. Order that, having accepted security from Alice de Harcourt and Joan, her sister, daughters and heiresses of Margaret Lestrange, for 50s. for their relief of half a knight’s fee with appurtenances that Margaret held of the king in chief in Alveley and Weston, he is to cause them to have full seisin without delay. Witness H. etc. By the same.”
