Notes for John Iwardby Lord of Quainton
m. (1) Katherine Missenden, (2) Jane Annesley.
De jure ux., lord of Mapledurham.
Meekings in 1968: "Nothing is known yet of his parents or his date of birth" though he estimated the latter at around 1390. But Meekings thought that Iwardeby came from the Lincolnshire village of Ewerby, near Sleaford.
The Lincs Pedigrees also give John and Katherine an elder son John and two daus: Anne and Elizabeth. it sounds likely that these three did not survive to adulthood.
