Notes for Sir John Burghersh Lord Kerdeston
DNB: "Nephew of Henry Burghersh, bishop of Lincoln".
Burke says he was of the family of barons Burghersh, but not how. Burke also says he m. Iamania (sic) dau of Simon Hanap of Glos somewhere and had two daus, Margaret and Maud (as connected here).
But Burke gets some of his account wrong...
Aug 2001: CP (Suffolk, Vol XII/1, p. 447) says he was Lord Kerdeston: CP Vol VII, pp. 193-8. And says he was ward of Joan, dau of Bartholomew, Lord Burghersh, wife of John de Mohun, Lord Mohun of Munster.

TFPL, June 2005: Adding all the above together, I have made him the son of John de Burghersh and Maud de Kerdeston. The data is not conclusive but there seems to be no other solution to his parentage. I await comment and correction!
