His birth date is known from the proceedings for the canonisation of Thomas de Cantilupe, where the ages of all witnesses were recorded; he was 46 in 1307. (See Doug Thomson’s excellent site on the Braoses.)

Feb 2007, TFPL: Doug Thompson’s relaunch of his Braose web-site now includes the forename of the first wife, Agnes, with the assertion that he and Agens had a son William, who dsp before any marriage, and the two daughters. The second wife, Liz de Sully, had no children.
