Notes for Alice Skipwith
TFPL, Nov 2003: She may well be Alice Skipwith, as detailed in the Lincs pedigrees, Vol III, p. 895, dau. of Sir Wm. Skipwith, Lord Chief Justice 1359 and living 1392 and of Alice, sole heir of Sir William Hiltoft of Hiltoft in Ingoldmells.
And, of course, CP says of Alice: "She is said to have been a dau. of Sir William de Skipwith, Chief baron of Exch, by Alice, da. and h. of Sir William de Hiltoft...", XII/2, p. 661, note (c).
I'll put her down as a Skipwith.

Foster in his “Fosters of Moulton”, p. 76, says she was indeed the daughter of Sir William and of Alice, dau. of Sir William Hiltoft. He gives four generations before her parents.
