The Northampton mercury on page 8 on Friday 10th August 1894 carried a long article on the wedding and the events in Northants leading up to it, including a tea for 2000!

Her name was spelled Soltan-Symons. Complete Peerage definitely has ‘Soltau’, as does Burke’s Peerage and as does Burke’s landed Gents of 1914.
