Notes for Leopold William Henry Fox-Powys
He and his wife had six children, all daughters and all lived to 53 or more.  Two did not marry.  Of the other four only the last child had any children, seven to be precise.  Of these seven children one died as a child and the others lived to at least 61.  Of the six adults only one married, in South Africa and any issue is not yet clear.  One of the other adults may have had a child with very similar forenames to his and the birth certificate has been ordered.  Currently there are no certain great-grandchildren for Leopold William Henry Fox-Powys so his line has died out.

Left the Fox estates by his uncle, Henry Fox, 4th and last baron Holland.

At marriage his surname was ‘Powys’; same at death.

From the censuses we find these children, taking their entry from the first census they appeared in:

                                Marital
First name(s)  Last name  Role  status  Sex  Age  Birth year  Occupation  Birth place
Edith G      Powys     Daur  -  F   6  1865  -                 Middlesex, MaryLeBone

Louise C     Powys     Daur  S  F   1  1880  -                 Kensington, Middlesex

Now to see what we can find from birth searches for Powys children with an Acheson maiden name for their mother:

Name:                              Mother's Maiden Surname:
POWYS, EDITH                       ACHESON
GRO Reference: 1864  S Quarter in MARYLEBONE  Volume 01A  Page 440
POWYS, EMILY MARION EMMA           ACHESON
GRO Reference: 1865  D Quarter in MARYLEBONE  Volume 01A  Page 455
POWYS, MAUD BLANCHE                ACHESON
GRO Reference: 1867  J Quarter in SAINT GEORGE HANOVER SQUARE  Volume 01A  Page 301
POWYS, MARY THERESA GWENDOLINE     ACHESON
GRO Reference: 1871  D Quarter in ST GEORGE HANOVER SQUARE  Volume 01A  Page 293
POWYS, HILDA GERALDINE             ACHESON

POWYS, LOUISE CHRISTINE            ACHESON
GRO Reference: 1879  S Quarter in KENSINGTON  Volume 01A  Page 191

Which precisely corresponds with the census list, though not the birth years, and agrees with the lack of sons.
