and below on the same page is added:

In the LDS Vital records he is written "Horace" as the father for all his children, save for his son Horace when he is down as Horatio.

Russell Powis reports that he found on IGI "a baptism for a Henrietta Marie Powys on 15 June 1834, died 19 March 1845, daughter of Horatio and Percy Gore". Sounds like the eldest child. The birth of an unnamed daughter is reported in the 1834 Annual Register, p. 187, on 15th of June at Wandsworth, confirming this.

1 Aug 1854: “Whitehall, July 31, 1854. The Queen has been pleased to present the

A search for the baptisms of children surnamed Powys and father’s forename of Hora* and mother’s of Percy from 1833 to 1853 gave this list initially from FindMyPast:
Bapt Previous Ancestry BT/

1847 Ann Gertrude Warrington 1847 Y 5 Sep 1847 BT -
1849 Laura Harriet Warrington 1847 Y 29 Apr 1849 BT -
A total of 10 baptisms were found. This compares with the nine I had found from an undisciplined approach and the three that are shown in the Lilford article in the 2002 Burke’s Peerage and the eight that appear in the 1914 Peerage, and then the full ten who were listed in Oswald Barron’s genealogy volume of the Northants VCH, published in 1909.
All of these ten now have images of their baptisms found on Ancestry.
Curiously two of the images, for Mary Georgiana and Percy Maria, were not in Ancestry’s index, but by paging through the baptism images, they were indeed found.
All the births were in Warrington, which the family did not leave until 1854 when Horatio was appointed to the Man see, five years after the last birth which was when their mother was 45.

In 1871 he was in Bishop’s Court, Isle of Man and gave his name as ‘Horace Sodor & Man’; none of their children were with them so I am not listing the household.

Apparently he rebuild the Chapel there with a ‘Victorian Gothic Chapel of St Nicholas’.

Note that while all the children were baptised in Warrington, Percy Maria was reported in this and other censuses to have been actually born in Wimpledon.
