m. (1) Margery Holco (dsp), (2) Anne Parker (4 daus), (3) Elizabeth Bacon (dsp).

Prince's "Worthies of Devon" gives three pages to Wm's biography.

It is reported that the History of Devonshire by Rev Richard Polwhele shows that Wm Periam was of Fulford, in the parish of Crediton, Devon and that his eldest dau. and co-heir Mary married Sir Willam Pole of Colcombe, Coliton, Devon.  Further the report goes on to say that Wm Periam had three wives, and that Jane was the dau of the second wife, not of Eliz Bacon.  See also History of Parliament, 1558-1603, Periam apparently being an MP.
