Notes for Richardson Ferrand
In Brewstar’s History of Stockton-upon-Tees, there is, pp. 155-6, a list of mayors including some Richardson Ferrands in 1751, 1752, 1762, 1801, 1802. The last two must have been his son who is known to have been mayor so the first three must have been this chappie.

I wonder if he had a son James as there is one who died in The Hague and has this will in PCC: Will of James Ferrand of The Hague 03 January 1816 PROB 11/1576. There is also the will of a Jean Pascal Ferrand of the Hague.
