The arms illustrated for him in Wraithe’s “Arms of the Aldermen of Aldersgate” are:
Azure (faded, or vert) on a chevron argent, three griffons heades between three lozenges or and on a chief chequy or and gules a greyhound courant, ermine collared or.
The notes to this volumes say that these ares were originally those displayed in the church of St Syth’s but were replaced by the above simpler arms by Ralph’s son Richard. _______________ |
