Notes for Alan Lord of Galloway
DNB says that he and Margaret also had a daughter Helena, wife of Roger de Quincy but CP and other modern sources now think Helena was from an earlier marriage, currently unknown.

The “Paradox of Medieval Scotland 1093-1286” project (see Alan’s first wife) says on his wives and progeny:
“He [Alan] was married three times: first, to a daughter of Roger de Lacy, constable of Chester, which produced a daughter, Helen, who married Roger de Quincy, earl of Winchester (d.1264); second, to Margaret, eldest daughter of David, earl of Huntingdon, which produced two daughters: Christiana (who married William de Forz) and Dervorguilla (who married John (I) Balliol); third, to Rose, daughter of Hugh de Lacy, earl of Ulster, which produced no offspring. Alan also had an illegitimate son, Thomas.
