Notes for Alice de Bohun
CP says there was a contract but no marriage with Roger V de Toni. CP does not mention any wife of Walter Beauchamp, my only source is Ronny Bodines "Dorothea Poyntz".
In Nov 2001, Douglas Richardson found that the marriage had taken place as the contract had only given the manors of Newton Tony and East Coulston in Wilts to Alice de Bohun if she had children, if no children the manors reverted to the Bohuns. The Manor of Newton Tony went to Roger's son Ralph and to his son Robert, so Ralph must have been the son of Alice.
Further East Coulson went to Walter de Beauchamp who married Roger's daughter Alice, so Alice too must have been a daughter of Alice de Bohun.
Further the marriage contract and the grant by Humphrey de Bohun is printed in the Beauchamp Cartulary Charters 1100-1268, ed E Mason, pub 1980, pp. 214 & 216.
Wow!
