Joseph Hunter collected pedigrees of the little men, the lesser gentry,
in the early 19th century. The pedigrees were of families from as early
as the beginnings of the visitations, in the sixteenth century, to the
eighteenth century. He added in some research where he could but
mostly any confirming documentation was thin. These are the various
Waterhouse families that he collected some information on.
