Notes:

1. Some of these lists of lines are not so good as others. However I have now taken out of the FitzAlan and Stewart line the dodgy lines of Marion Campbell and the Stewarts of Allantoun of Daldowie.
2. However the size of the FitzAlan and Stewart line is now nearly three times what it was. This is due to the addition of the manifold Scottish ancestry of the Cockburns of Langton. This increase in known Scottish ancestry will enable me to add several tables of descents from early medieval Scottish families: watch this space.
3. All the lists with multiple lines are such because some descendants married each other. Lines such as the Chaworths with 602 and the Montgomeries with 544 lines of descent merely had lots of relations marrying one another over the nine or so centuries since their First Ancestors.
4. Most lines start with the earliest ancestor that I know of. But with the Barringtons I omitted the two or three very early generations as the information may not be that reliable. And with the Martin and Mowbray line I omitted the earlier generation(s) that were not relevant to the names of Martin and Mowbray.
5. On the other hand with the Carews, I included the earlier generations of Windsor as these are usually included with that family.
6. In these lists I have included none of the references for any person. Please refer to my main tree of everyone where you will find all my source references and also the notes on any reservations I may have.
7. When you display a line, the numbers in brackets on the left are the numbers of generations down. To find someone's parents go to the first line above that has a generation number that is one less.
